The Willow Collective is a student collective at Carleton University organizing a walkout and short-term student strike in response to the OSAP cuts by the Ford government. We believe that not only are these cuts a guarantee of continued poverty for many people, but we believe that the labour that students provide to academia is worthy of recognition and renumeration.
All of our work takes place on Anishinaabe land that should be returned to the Anishinaabe people. A mere land acknowledgement could not be enough.
